Time for a stiff upper lip, chaps. And Peter Schmeichel - you must grin and bear it.
The alternative is for Manchester United to be considered paranoid whingers, with the Danish star the lad who wants to take his ball home.
It must be truly heartbreaking to miss a cup final through suspension, particularly when you are just doing your job and dashing nobly to rescue a tricky situation.
I accept that the Reds' goalkeeper did not handle the ball intentionally. He went for it and the chip from Kim Grant struck his forearm.
And of course, if it wasn't deliberate hand ball, he should never have been sent off. All very well in theory, but in the real football world, Schmeichel spread himself and successfully blocked a shot that was odds on for the net.
Ninety nine referees out of 100 would see that as an offence and I believe referee Robbie Hart made the right decision.

" I don't believe Peter Schmeichel deliberately handled the ball and to miss a cup final for that would be a tragedy.
But the response from our players was brilliant. You could see determination written on their faces during the interval and they couldn't wait to get back out.
We got a break with Mark Hughes scoring so quickly after the interval because they had to open up and it gave us more room.
The chips were down when we were reduced to 10 men but I saw the personal motivation and when you have that it speaks volumes for team spirit and character. I was very proud of them."
